The Federation of Western Australian Bushwalkers Inc is
not legally bound by the Australian Privacy Act 1988, nor by the Western
Australian Information Privacy Bill (2007), but chooses to adopt the
National Privacy Principles and the
principles contained in the WA Information Privacy Bill (2007) wherever
possible, to ensure the privacy rights of members.
In general this means that member's personal information
is kept secure and not passed onto others unnecessarily.
